Dominican Republic - Local Outreach

Description: For several years, our church’s student ministry partnered with Iglesia Bautista Getsemani, helping the church grow into a great church and a Christian school ministry. We will continue this partnership, along with supporting our new church partners, to help reach community members in other cities.

What will we do? Street Evangelism, distribution of Bibles and other church materials, and community outreach to the populations of a couple of cities and surrounding areas. Community outreach could be sports camps or VBS-type events. Our team will also assist with the Christian school ministry in Santo Domingo and begin laying the groundwork for a church plant.

Who can go? Adults (Educators and Spanish speakers are a plus but not required) and children (age 9+ accompanied by a parent)

Physical Requirements: There will be periods of walking and standing. Sports camps would require physical activity.
